Outline of Research at the Start

本研究では、多様なバンド構造を有するカルコゲナイド系二次元層状物質と三次元バルク半導体「Si」の接合形成技術を開発する。これにより、既存のシリコン材料プロセス技術では成し得ないような原子レベルでの急峻性と欠陥レスな理想的界面を追究する。さらに、二次元物質の構造や組成の変化による接合界面の電子状態を明確にすることで、二次元物質/Siのヘテロ接合界面のフェルミレベル制御とバンドアライメント制御を実現する。これらにより、二次元物質と融合したシリコンデバイス・プロセス・材料の学術体系を創出する。
