交通に関わる様々な新しい技術やサービスを，都市や社会に対する負の影響を抑えつつ，都市のビジョンの実現に貢献する形で受け入れることは都市交通計画の重要課題である。本研究は，例えば「人間中心」や「マルチモーダルなアクセシビリティの確保」といったビジョンへの貢献が近年期待されていることを念頭に，新技術・新サービスの時代に適応したビジョン主導・アクセシビリティ指向型の都市交通計画技法の開発を目指すものである。
