Outline of Research at the Start

固体壁面に接して流れているマイナス250℃程度の液体水素が，気体に相変化する過程の一部を，まずは量子分子動力学法と呼ばれる個々の水素分子の運動を直接追跡できる手法（前年度までに構築してきている計算手法）により継続的に模擬する．これにより，液体水素中における気泡の初生速度（1秒間に生成される気泡数）を評価する．また，水素気泡の初生速度を考慮したマクロな熱流動の数値計算を，流れの乱れの影響を的確に模擬できる手法を用いて実施する．以上を通して，液体水素を燃料として用いる液体ロケットの推進系機器の設計開発において非常に重要となる，水素の気液相変化を伴う熱流動解析技術の確立を目指す．
