Outline of Research at the Start

溶液中に分散した粒子は、溶媒が蒸発すると充填される。粒子膜の物性には充填構造が影響するが、現状では充填構造を事前に予測できない。
そもそも乾燥中の粒子にかかる力や粒子充填のされやすさを計測する手段がないためである。本研究では、粒子充填に至る前段階の、局所的に濃縮された粒子分散液に作用する重力と粒子膜成長の関係を利用した計測法を提案する。ガラス板とスペーサーで作る小型のセルで、汎用的で簡単に測定できる手法を実証する。世界のものづくりで広範に使われている乾燥プロセスには、いまだ試行錯誤が不可欠である。そんな現状から脱却するための強力な武器を、世界に先駆けて整備する。
