Outline of Research at the Start

赤外・テラヘルツ領域の光を利用した物質検査が実現されつつある。この背景のもと、これまでに単層カーボンナノチューブが高感度かつ広帯域の赤外センサとして機能することを見出している。本研究ではこれまでに培った構造制御、製膜、さらには応募者らが世界をリードするドーピング技術などを組み合わせ、CNTの直径、純度、モルフォロジーなどが与える物理化学的要素への影響を明らかにすることでセンサの超高感度化を実現するとともに、これまでデバイス実証に留まっていたプラズモニック熱電デバイスに学理を与えることを目的とする。
