Outline of Research at the Start

高いマイクロ波素子特性を持つ熱駆動磁気トンネル接合の熱輸送現象を明らかにすることで、熱スピン制御の高効率化に向けた指針を得る。具体的には、高い熱抵抗が期待されている強磁性金属｜絶縁体構造の界面およびその近傍における熱輸送をサーモリフレクタンス測定の２ω法により実験的に明らかにする。このことにより、熱駆動スピントロニクスとフォノンエンジニアリングの融合を図り、新しい熱設計の熱駆動スピンデバイスを提案・評価する。将来的に、次世代IoTデバイスの基盤技術や、ナノスケール熱機関などの分野に波及することが期待される。
