Outline of Research at the Start

本研究で実施するのは、プラズモンナノ粒子間の量子コヒーレント相互作用を用いた光学・光化学特性制御である。プラズモン粒子がその配列として特性を示すためには、それぞれが独立に振る舞うのではなく、集団として同期して振る舞う必要がある。強結合状態においては結合前の状態同士が混成し、その双方の性質を併せ持ち、数百nmにおよぶコヒーレント範囲を有し、同時に強結合下では表面での光化学反応量子収率が増大する。
本研究の核心は、コヒーレント相互作用下にあるプラズモンナノ粒子の配列を制御することで独立のナノ粒子では発現し得ない特性、特に高効率光化学反応への寄与を目指すことにある。
