Outline of Research at the Start	本研究では、タンパク質を生体外環境で安定に機能させるための新しいマトリックス材料の開発に取り組む。特に、医療や産業への応用が期待される膜タンパク質に着目し、その機能を保持したまま固定化・配向制御する技術の確立を目指す。2年目の研究では、1年目に設計・合成したタンパク質包接ケージ分子の改良と、その方法論の論文化に向けたデータ収集を中心に進める。これらの研究を通して、生体高分子の工学的利用に向けた新たな基盤技術の創出を目指す。
