Outline of Research at the Start

We aim to characterize Dynein mRNA axonal localization and translation in sensory neurons using a mouse in which the localizing element is deleted by CRISPR CAS9 technology. We will characterize these mice for defects in axonal regeneration both in vivo and in vitro.
