Outline of Research at the Start	本研究では、好熱性シアノバクテリア由来膜表在性アンテナ複合体（Phycobilisome）および渦鞭毛藻由来膜表在性アンテナ複合体（Peridinin-Chl a protein）について、研究代表者が新たに考案した光合成試料調製法を用いてアンテナ-光化学系超複合体の単離・精製を行い、クライオ電子顕微鏡を用いた単粒子解析によってその立体構造を明らかにする。そして、レーザー励起時間分解測定による超複合体のエネルギー移動解析、クライオ電子顕微鏡による時間分割構造解析を行うことで、アンテナ-光化学系超複合体の構造と機能を解明する。
