Outline of Research at the Start

染色体DNAの複製開始反応は、細胞周期の制御や環境に応じた細胞増殖の制御とも連係している。そのためこの反応そのものの分子メカニズム、および、その制御システムの解明は、細胞の増殖や恒常性維持の分子機構の理解にも重要となる。さらにそれらの進化の理解のためにも重要となる。代表者は世界最先端で大腸菌染色体の複製開始反応の分子メカニズムとその制御システムを明らかにしてきた。本研究ではそのような成果を基にして複製開始メカニズムの進化的普遍性と多様性を解析し共通原理の解明を進める。また複製開始制御システムが細胞周期と連係する分子機構の解明を進める
