Outline of Research at the Start

宇宙では放射線、微小重力、閉鎖環境ストレスが複合的な影響を生体に与え、その医学的理解と対応策の開発は重要な課題である。これまでに、国際宇宙ステーション(ISS)に滞在する宇宙飛行士を対象とした液体生検(リキッドバイオプシー)解析が行われ、血漿中の細胞外RNA・DNA解析により、体内深部組織の宇宙環境応答が明らかになった。この過程で、宇宙滞在中には血漿中に細胞外ミトコンドリアを含む細胞外小胞（EV）が放出され、代わって、地上で血漿中に存在するEVが減少することが見出された。本研究では、表面抗原を指標としたEV分画法を応用して、宇宙環境に応答する血漿中EVの解析を行う。
