Outline of Research at the Start

「移動を終了しつつある神経細胞が、いかに層構造を構築するのか？」を下記３点に着目し明らかにする。
【１】リーリンシグナル：神経細胞移動停止に関わる新規のリーリン経路下流候補分子を複数得たため、その機能を解析する。
【２】神経突起と細胞体の選別機構：辺縁帯直下に到達した神経細胞が突起部分と細胞体部分が互いに選別される機構を発動すると想定し、その責任分子の候補として複数のカドヘリンを同定し検証する。
【３】神経反発因子シグナルの関与：胎生脳の辺縁帯には複数の神経反発因子が含まれるがその意義は不明である。辺縁帯が移動神経細胞に対して反発作用を示すことを見出したため、その作用機序を明らかにする。
