Outline of Research at the Start

メタバーコーディング／メタゲノム解析は、今のところ培養ができない／困難な原核生物が多数自然環境中に棲息し、その一部は他種生物と共生関係をもつことを示唆する。本研究では、真核生物ゲノムデータに混入した原核生物ゲノムデータを探索し、これまで方法論上の問題で見過ごされてきた真核生物に共生する原核生物（原核共生体）を体系的に検出することを目指す。さらに、メタゲノムや各種真核生物ゲノムデータから効率的に原核共生体のゲノム配列を抽出するプログラムを作成する。最終的に、共生性未培養原核生物の多様性の実態に迫るため、作成した機械学習プログラムを用いて各種メタゲノムデータ中に原核共生体ゲノムを探索する。
