Outline of Research at the Start	古代湖では生物の急速な適応放散がしばしば観察される。短期間で著しい多様化を遂げた古代湖の生物は、生物多様化の謎を解くカギとして世界中の研究者の注目を集めてきた。本研究では、日本の古代湖・琵琶湖において急速に多様化したカワニナ類を材料にして、分子遺伝学的側面から生物多様化の仕組みの解明を目指す。
