Outline of Research at the Start

創薬分子基盤の確立を指向し、複数の環が組み合わさった三次元的に広がりのある骨格に、官能基や置換基が配置される構造の合成法開発を目的として、天然物の合成研究を実施する。複雑な構造をもつ分子の合成は情報学的な反応の集積のみでは実施することが困難であり、分子挙動の理解が必要不可欠である。実験を通して分子の構造・性質に関する情報を的確に得て、それらを繰り込んだ合成計画の立案、多面的な検討を経て、合成経路を確立する。
