Outline of Research at the Start

COVID-19の重症化メカニズムの解析研究が盛んに行われてきたが、未だ全容は不明である。また、現在COVID-19の罹患後症状の患者が急増しているが、その発症メカニズムは不明であり、治療戦略すらたたないことが世界的問題となっている。そこで本研究では、SARS-CoV-2誘導性のバリア破綻に着目する新しい視点で、COVID-19の重症化・罹患後症状の誘導メカニズムの解明と治療薬の開発を行う。
