Outline of Research at the Start

深刻化している薬剤耐性菌感染症の治療技術として、治療に有効なファージをファージバンクから患者ごとに選抜して投与する方法、すなわち個別化ファージセラピーが有力な手段の一つとして考えられる。本研究では、ファージの進化速度の速さに着目し、進化工学的手法を用いてバリエーション豊富なファージを創製する技術を開発する。また、各ファージの特性値に基づき、治療に最適なファージカクテルを調製するための手法を確立する。
