Outline of Research at the Start

本研究では新しい大腸癌の発癌経路であるSerrated pathwayに関与する腸内細菌、腸内細菌由来遺伝子や代謝物質の特定を研究目的とする。SPS（Serrated polyposis syndrome）患者：80名を研究対象とし、凍結便を用いてメタゲノム解析とメタボローム解析（CE/TOF-MS）を行う。性別および年齢を適合させた健常者と比較検討を行い、SPS患者に特徴的な腸内環境を明らかにする。さらに食事等の「生活習慣などに関するアンケート」を基に、SPS患者に特徴的な生活習慣や栄養素摂取量等を明らかにし、本疾患の予防法の開発に繋げることを最終目標とする。
