Outline of Research at the Start

本研究では、新型コロナウイルスに感染した患者において、抗ウイルス薬の治療を受けたにも関わらず効果があまり得られなかった患者を対象に研究を進め、治療効果が得られなかった理由や原因について究明することを目的とする。特に、日常診療で使用され、経口薬であるメインプロテアーゼ（3CLpro）阻害剤について解析を進める。期待される成果として、耐性機序が明らかとなり、耐性変異株の早期診断法の開発や、出現した耐性変異株に対する新規経口薬の開発に向けての基礎的な知見が得られると考えられる。
