Outline of Research at the Start

アメロジェニン・GRP78複合体がどのような機序で細胞内に移行し、免疫抑制および創傷治癒・血管新生を促進するのかは依然として不明である。
本研究はアメロジェニン・GRP78複合体がこれらの機能を制御する分子基盤を解明するため、１．複合体の構造解析により複合体の細胞内移行の機序や生理的機能を解明することと、また２．GRP78発現を増強する化合物、テプレノンにより複合体の活性増強が可能か否かを検証することを目的としている。
これらの結果をもって、テプレノンとアメロジェニンの複合投与による３．新しい歯周組織再生療法を開発すると共に、４．難治性免疫疾患の新規治療確立に向け研究のさらなる展開を図る。
