提供される看護は、患者転帰をより良くするものでなければならない。看護職の雇用確保、看護師の病棟配置（Staffing）、離職者の抑制等看護管理者のマネジメントは最終的にPatient Outcomeに影響することが海外研究で明らかであり、専門特化した看護師の配置、離職等看護管理に関するデータとAdministrative Dataを連結した研究が進んでいるがわが国では未着手である。
DPCデータを活用した研究に加え、看護管理上必要なデータを連結したプラットホームを構築し、マネジメントとPatient/Nurse Outcome の関連についてわが国の実態を明らかにする。
