本研究の目的は、自身ではコントロールが不可能な偶発事象である新型コロナウイルス感染症が、看護師にどのようなキャリアショックをもたらしたのかを明らかにし、その経験がその後のキャリアにどのように意味づけられていくのかを、持続可能なキャリア・パラダイムの中で探索することである。
コロナ禍でキャリアショックを受けたスタッフとその管理者に行い、15施設に所属する60人を予定している。各人に２年間の間隔を空けて２回のインタビューを行う縦断的な質的探索研究である。
