Outline of Research at the Start

本研究は、身体不活動によって引き起こされる慢性的な痛みや悪循環の形成に対処するため、その病態機序を解明し、効果的な理学療法戦略の基盤を提供することを目的としている。ギプス固定後慢性痛モデルを用いて、痛みシグナル関連分子の変化を探索し、選択的阻害薬の投与、遺伝子ノックダウン、遺伝子組換え動物、オプトジェネティクス、ケモジェネティクスなどを組み合わせたアプローチで痛みの発生と維持のメカニズムを明らかにする。さらに、理学療法の効果とその分子基盤を解析し、慢性痛の理学療法戦略の基盤構築に貢献することを目指している。
