Outline of Research at the Start

加齢は骨格筋の萎縮(サルコペニア)を生じさせるが、この病態発症の分子機構の全容は不明である。本研究ではサルコペニアの発症や運動による予防効果の分子機構について、免疫細胞由来の分泌エクソソームによる細胞間コミュニケーションの役割に着眼して検証する。具体的には、最先端のエクソソーム解析技術を用いて、加齢や運動などの環境因子による骨格筋の免疫細胞由来の分泌エクソソームの性質の変動を検証する。
