Outline of Research at the Start

データストリームを滞りなくロスレス圧縮可能な新しい方式を本研究チームは開発し、超高速な伝送路に対してハードウェア実装を実現した。この圧縮技法を超高速な伝送路に適用するには電気的なエラー対策や、秘匿化といった、実装上の信頼性向上策が必要になる。従来技術で高信頼性を実現するには、要求される機能のための符号化を追加する必要があるが、それらは情報の付加によるデータ量の増大を避けられず、さらに、コンパクトなハードウェアでの実現が難しい。本研究はデータ量削減の恩恵と伝送路の信頼性を融合した符号化原理を解明する。
