Outline of Research at the Start

近年，Webを「社会のセンサー」とみなし，Web上の情報からオフライン社会に関する情報を抽出する研究が盛んである．しかし，Webは特有の偏りを持つ「歪みを持つ鏡」であり，そこから社会の正確な姿を知るためには，この偏りを補正する必要がある．同様に，近年，オンラインあるいはオフラインの多くの一般の人々（クラウド）から提供される情報から社会の情報を抽出する「クラウドセンシング」の研究も多く行われているが，その場合も，クラウド特有の偏りが生じうる．そこで本研究では，Webやクラウドから収集した偏りを含む情報から偏りを取り除き補正する技術を開発する．
