Outline of Research at the Start

本研究では，マイクロ流体デバイスを用いた培養神経回路の構造制御技術を先端バイオ計測技術と融合させることにより，生物の脳がバイオ素子に基づいて実現する情報処理をボトムアップ的に解析するための新しい実験系を創成する．具体的には，生物の脳神経系で進化的に保存されているモジュール構造に焦点をあてて，高次元の神経ダイナミクスが安定に保持される回路的メカニズムを構造機能相関の観点から明らかにする．さらにレザバー計算の理論を用いて刺激応答パターンをデコードすることで，適度な高次元性を有する自己組織化臨界状態の計算論的意義を明らかにする．
