Outline of Research at the Start

グローバル化が急速に進行し、一定の期限付きで国外から労働者を受け入れる一時的移民労働者受け入れ制度の拡大が世界的に顕著になっている。同制度では、移民労働者に対する社会統合政策は行われず、ホスト社会から排除されるという制度面が強調されてきた。しかし現実には、非包摂型の移民政策をとっている国でも、一時的移民労働者が一時的という身分にかかわらず長期に滞在し、生活基盤を築く状況が発生している。本研究は、一時的移民労働者の受け入れ先端国のアラブ首長国連邦と、送り出し先端国のフィリピンに注目し、フィリピン人のライフヒストリーを基に、移民労働者の視点からみた排除と包摂の諸側面の相互作用の動態を分析する。
