Outline of Research at the Start

この研究では，わずか1V/cmの弱い電界でがんをほとんど非侵襲的に治療する腫瘍治療電場の新しいメカニズムを確かめ，その効果を最大化するための電界の決定方法を検討しようと計画している．そのために，外部電界に誘導される細胞膜電位の大きさと細胞の生死との関係を実験と解析から明らかにする．この成果は，弱い電界を体外から当てておくだけでがんが消えるという画期的な無侵襲がん治療の実用化に大きく貢献すると思われる．
