Outline of Research at the Start

本研究では、申請者が開発した細胞透過能とアジュバント作用を併せ持つ機能性HSAにアルブミン融合技術を駆使して抗原ペプチドを融合化したHSAナノワクチンの設計を試み、免疫療法としての有用性を検証する。申請者はこれまでにピキア酵母発現系を用いて"アルブミン融合技術"を確立してきた。この技術は、アルブミンと抗原ペプチドを遺伝子レベルで接合可能であるため、HSA の物性を活かして、抗原ペプチドの問題点である短い生体内半減期を延長することができる。HSAナノワクチンの創薬技術はHSA多量体やHSAナノ粒子に対しても適用できるため、ナノワクチンプラットフォームとして幅広い展開が想定される。
