Outline of Research at the Start

本研究では骨組織に選択的に作用する両親媒性ポリマーを獲得し，骨転移巣に抗がん剤を選択輸送することを実現する．乳がんを原発巣とする骨転移では骨破壊が起こり，患者のQOLが著しく低下する．骨破壊の阻止に焦点を当てたポリマー医薬は現存しておらず，本研究の成果は健康寿命の増進に直結しているため，社会的波及効果も極めて大きい．
