Outline of Research at the Start	認知症根本治療薬の実用化を妨げる最大の要因として、投与部位から病巣である脳局所（特に海馬）への薬物送達効率が著しく低いことが挙げられる。そこで本研究では、薬物投与後の「脳移行性の増大」さらに「脳病巣局所への標的化」を両立する新たなDDS戦略を確立することを目的とする。本研究を通じて、タンパク質や核酸等の有望な医薬モダリティを脳病巣（海馬）に届ける技術を確立することにより、認知症根本治療薬開発の発展に寄与したいと考えている。
