Outline of Research at the Start

運動時の代謝状態を把握することは、自身の能力を知るうえで重要である。本研究では、皮膚中で光学的に代謝産物である乳酸など複数の生体成分濃度を同時計測することで、極低侵襲で代謝動態を計測できるセンサシステムの開発を行う。鍼灸針表面に様々なデザインの光導波路を作製する技術を確立し、皮膚中の代謝関連物質の同時連続計測を可能とする。運動時のエネルギー代謝だけでなく、インスリン等の分泌物とそれに伴うグルコース等の物質濃度変化や、動物の健康管理、植物の生育状態把握のなどにも応用が期待される。
