Outline of Research at the Start

サイズの制限されるカプセル内にいかにコンパクトな画像解析システムを実装できるかという学術的問いのもと、病変を自動認識するプログラムをカプセル回路に実装し、自走式の利点を活かして、病変を重点的に観察するよう停留・逆走動作に連動させることで、見落とし率を低減することを、腸管モデルや動物実験により検証する。大規模AIに頼らない特徴的知識を抽出しブラックボックスでない因果関係のわかる知能フィードバックを使用する。医療分野におけるコンパクトな知能フィードバックが学術的興味の対象である。本技術により自宅での検査を可能とし、大腸がんの早期発見や早期治療に貢献する。
