Outline of Research at the Start |
Electron spins in quantum dots can be used as quantum bits of information (qubits) in quantum computing. The development of quantum dot spin qubits has made tremendous progress, from the demonstration of the basic qubit operations, to device architecture and manufacturing technology. However, to obtain a scalable architecture, new methods are required for the initialization and readout of spin qubits that operate at higher temperature. To address this, we will develop an alternative way to operate a spin qubit in silicon.
