Outline of Research at the Start

本研究は、我々MOAグループが、I.ニュー ジーランドにある1.8m MOA-II望遠鏡を用いて、重力マイクロレンズ探査を3年間継続し、系外惑星、浮遊惑星、ブラックホールを探査する。また、II. 隣接する61cm望遠鏡に近赤外線カメラを搭載し、南アフリカに新たに建設した1.8m PRIME近赤外線望遠鏡が発見するイベントの追観測を行う。これらにより、1.系外惑星の質量関数、軌道長半径分布を見積もる。2.主星を伴わない浮遊惑星の存在量、質量関数を正確に見積もり、惑星形成過程を解明する。3.重力マイクロレンズで、単独で存在するブラックホールを発見し、その存在量を見積もり、形成過程を解明する。
