Outline of Research at the Start

非理想的な気体爆轟の特性を決定づける現象の一つと考えられる、垂直衝撃波と異成分噴流列の相互干渉の特性を、日米での実験と数値流体計算を相補的に活用して解明する。対象とする相互干渉は、現実の爆轟現象のうち多くを占める、噴流混合下の爆轟伝播で生じ、爆轟伝播に有利にも不利にも寄与しうる。
研究では、着目する相互干渉を非燃焼流で模擬し、取得頻度や位置同定精度の異なる手法で現象を可視化する。可視化データの観察の他、主な特性を回帰分析で整理し、工学利用を容易にする。実験を模した3次元数値流体計算では、実験計測が困難な物理量、流れを特徴づける統計量、各効果の寄与度などの時空間分布から、現象を詳細に理解する。
