Outline of Research at the Start

本研究では、研究代表者の有する合金ナノ粒子開発技術と、海外の共同研究グループの有する放射光operando解析技術を組み合わせることで、ナノ合金からなる高活性CO2RR触媒の開発を目指す。異種元素のドーピングによる金属中心の電子状態制御、触媒表面の元素種を適切な選択により、CO2RRの重要な中間体である吸着CO種などの吸着エネルギーの制御することで、触媒活性の向上を目指す。CO2RR活性の評価と触媒反応の電気化学的解析、放射光operando XAFS解析、第一原理計算による反応メカニズム解析を一貫して行い、それらを適宜合成にフィードバックすることにより、CO2RR活性を向上させる。
