Outline of Research at the Start

ヒトの女性は恒常的な性的受容性を示すが、それがどのように進化したかについては未だに解明されていない。本研究では、ヒト以外で授乳不妊期に性的受容性を示すヒト科Pan属のボノボと、それを示さない同属のチンパンジーを比較することによって、ボノボにおける授乳不妊期の性的受容性の発現メカニズムを解明し、ヒトにみられる恒常的性的受容性の進化の解明の手がかりとする。尿試料を用いた性ホルモン動態の分析、糞プロテオミクス分析による授乳状態の分析、行動観察による性的受容性の変化を分析し、それらの相互関係を分析する。
