Outline of Research at the Start

申請者は去勢抵抗性前立腺癌での増悪因子の1つとされるa disintegrin and metalloprotease 9 （ADAM9）の血中存在体である可溶性ADAM9（soluble ADAM9: sADAM9）が、周囲の細胞との細胞間接着を外して、癌細胞が遊走、浸潤していき、骨転移を誘導することを明らかにした。本研究では①sADAM9に特異的なモノクローナル抗体を作成し、②人種差が小さい日本と台湾の臨床症例においてsADAM9と去勢抵抗性の関係性を調べ、ADAM9及びsADAM9の癌転移メカニズムの解明を目指す。
