Outline of Research at the Start

研究代表者らは、これまで、抗菌成分の非溶出型と溶出型の2つのデザインで、歯科材料に抗菌性を付与する技術を確立してきた。本研究では、研究代表者らが確立した抗菌性ポリマーを用いた細菌標的型の抗菌技術に、バイオフィルムの菌体外マトリックス内に存在するDNA（eDNA）を分解する酵素（NucB）を用いた菌体外マトリックス標的型のバイオフィルム制御技術を導入することで、細菌と菌体外マトリックスの双方を標的とする新たなバイオフィルム制御材料技術の確立を目指す。
