Outline of Research at the Start	申請者は、微生物による有用物質生産に根ざした酵素の基質特異性改変とそのプロセス化に挑戦し、酵素の配列保存度情報を機械学習で抽出することで、酵素機能を効率的に改変する酵素設計指針を見出した。本研究では、国際共同研究者の得意とする細菌ゲノム編集技術を酵素工学に転用し、細胞の増殖速度を評価基準とした酵素改変手法を開発する。この時、次世代シーケンサーで網羅的に時系列データを取得し、変異導入が酵素活性に及ぼす影響を定量的に評価する。
