Outline of Research at the Start	基課題である老化細胞除去ワクチンをより特異的な治療に発展させるため、本国際共同研究では共同研究者である米国メイヨークリニックのKirkland博士らが作製した細胞種特異的にp16陽性の老化細胞を除去できるマウスと細胞老化を誘導できるマウスを用いて老化細胞の多様性を明らかにする。さらに細胞腫特異的、疾患特異的なSASP因子を同定し、老化細胞を分類することで、基課題の老化細胞除去ワクチンのメカニズムを明らかにするとともに、副作用を予測し、より特異的な治療の開発を目指す。帰国後は共同研究により新たに同定した分子を標的としたワクチン治療の開発も行なう。
