Outline of Research at the Start	感冒の原因となるウイルスのひとつであるRSウイルス(RSV)は小児における重要な疾病負荷の原因であり、近年では高齢者でも無視できない負荷をもたらしているとされる。2023年には日本でもRSVワクチンが認可されたが、その効果についての定量的な評価は日本においてRSV感染症のデータが不足していることもあり、いまだ不十分である。本課題では欧州RSVコンソーシアムの一員であるアントワープ大学と共同研究を行い、日本やその他の国におけるRSV感染症の疾病負荷、予防接種政策の評価を包括的に行うことを目標とする。
