申請者は基課題において、免疫抑制性ケモカインであるCCL2の転写因子であるFOXK1の発現を、Wntシグナル活性化酵素であるTRAF2 and NCK-interacting protein kinase (以下、TNIK) に対する阻害薬が抑制することを新たに見出した。そして、TNIK阻害薬が有効なSCLCのsubtypeを同定した。PDXモデルとsyngeneicモデルを用いて、TNIK阻害薬単剤あるいは抗PD-L1抗体との併用療法の効果を検証することで、TNIK阻害薬をSCLCに対する新たな分子標的薬あるいは免疫チェックポイント阻害薬との併用免疫療法として確立することを目指す。
