Outline of Research at the Start	この研究は、日本で年間約12万件発生する突然死の社会復帰率向上を目的とする。従来の一律の心肺蘇生法では個々の血行動態に基づいた適切な対応ができず、社会復帰率は5%以下と非常に低い状態である。この問題に対処するため、本研究では非侵襲的な頸動静脈血流モニタリング技術を活用し、心肺蘇生中の血行動態を正確に評価する新たな心肺蘇生手法の開発を目指す。トロントの研究グループとの国際共同研究により、質の高い動物実験および臨床研究を通じて、予後改善に貢献するエビデンスの創出を目的とする。
