Outline of Final Research Achievements |
Our experience after East Japan Disaster suggets following:(1)The settlement procedure, including ADR, is far from giving a comprehensive solution for nuclear accident victims. (2)Lawyers of Tokyo and those of local Bar Associations could not build collaborative networks. Japan Federation of Bar Associations should take an initiative to solve this problem. (3)Japan Legal Support Center has to build cooperative relationships with local lawyers. Otherwise, they cannot provide legal service to victims effectively. JLSC can also build a comprehensive service scheme, including social welfare service as well as legal service in particular to elderly evacuees living at conpemporary housings. (4)Lawyers are required to play much larger roles for disaster victims.
