Outline of Final Research Achievements |
An experience based natural disaster simulator based on physical simulation has been developed in order to improve the awareness of disaster risk management. An accurate digital modeling system for urban area has been developed by using GIS/CAD data for the pre-process. The numerical simulation methods based on parallel computation have been developed for the computation of natural disaster. A high quality visualization system based on the virtual reality technology has been developed for the post-process.
