Outline of Final Research Achievements |
We developed a system to represent “quality indicators” for medical service quality assessment. These indicators have formal representation and they are easily understandable. Therefore, they help to fairly compare or evaluate medical service qualities based on data in medical databases. The representation system is based on Medical Service Assessment Ontology, which is established based on models on medical services and their assessments. We also developed methodologies and a system for defining, selecting and automatically calculating quality indicators based on the representation system.
